    Does an over tightened scope ring start to flex a scope tube and cause accuracy, holding zero and tracking problems but when you remove the scope, the flex backs off and it all looks fine? How delicate/sensitive is the torque spec to consider over tightened? 1-5in-lbs over recommended or 5-10in-lbs over recommended?

  • @joeyzagari4155
    @joeyzagari4155 3 месяца назад

    Is marking on the scope tube considered “crushed” ? Even if the tube looks and feels pretty round. Can a slight flex and permanent deformation (no longer perfectly round but can’t tell either) be considered a crushed tube at which holding zero and tracking issues start to present themselves?

  • @joeyzagari4155
    @joeyzagari4155 3 месяца назад

    Interesting, so unless a tube crushes then will you have tracking and holding zero issues? What if a scope says not to exceed 18in-lbs, but all scopes are super heavy today and always slip in the rings under recoil when you mount stupid heavy torches on top that the temptation to tighten to 20-25in-lbs becomes real, but you don’t see any tube crush. Will that scope lose its ability to hold zero or compromise tall target click tracking even after tightening up a few more in-lbs but no crush or will anything above the recommended torque always cause zero and tracking issues no matter what? Does 1 in-lb above recommended guarantee a permanently ruined scope in all cases? How tolerable is it?

    I tried to shoot my 1911 45ACP and Glock 34 9mm in IDPA and did not have great success switching between buns as the Glock has a unique grip angle. many of our scenarios were close in where you would simply point and shoot without focus on iron sights. I sold all my Glocks and stayed with guns having the standard grip angle like S&W M&P, SIG and CZ. My present carry gun is a S&W Shield+ but I'm transitioning to the H&K VP9 family. A VP9SK-B would become my new carry gun and I just put my first pistol optic on a VP9 Match with a Holosun 507C green. IDPA isn't as fast paced as IPSC and more mirrors concealed carry scenarios. It was started here in Arkansas by Bill Wilson.

    I recently bought this vest for deer hunting in Pennsylvania. Overall, it is a decent vest and holds almost everything i need. however, there are a few areas of concern that could use improving. 1) use zippers on all the pouches (except maybe the extra large pouches) instead of plastic clips and nylon straps. They don't stay tight at all and small to medium size items fall out easily from the gaps, even when fully tightened. 2) add grip teeth to the plastic pieces that hold the 6 side straps and make the end of the straps fatter. The straps fall out easily and like the pouches, don't stay tight. 3) add a slot to the top of the vest that can feed a drink tube from the pouch and over the shoulder straps. Having to run it through it's own open zipper, across the back and shoulder, then under a shoulder strap isn't comfortable or secure. 4) shoulder straps are tight and difficult to adjust, also not enough storage for the excess strap lengths. I haven't had this vest very long, but so far that's what I've found wrong with it.

    Educational note: “Proof” is not the same as “percentage”. Isopropyl alcohol is described by percentages. Proof is double the percentage, so 90 proof is only 45% alcohol. What you are using in this video (initially) is 90% isopropyl alcohol, not 90 proof drinking alcohol.

Give might want to tell your subscribers Arken is the way to go. You Canucks don't even know how to pronounce. Oh I forgot you guys are owned by your queen. In prime minister Trudeau. You guys can't even have firearms in your own house. At least America has a pair those two guns in my profile sit right next to my bed fully loaded ready to rock and roll read along with my AR-15 if anyone breaks into my. I have a 930 tactical for self defense and hog hunting etc. I have never had a hang up on either one to feed or eject, those who do don’t clean and oil and use that super cheap low recoil crap. Automatic shotguns function best with full power shells and the 930/935 is no different.
